If you see a giant cup with wheels rolling around Downtown don't pinch yourself, you are still awake, but you might be in need of a freshly brewed cup of coffee. On September 25th, The Locals Coffee Cart woke up in the Federal Building providing Inuvo, PrivacyStar and Log Cabin employees with a healthy dose of caffeine to get their mornings started. The cart was designed and made by Hendrix college student Mallory Glick; the coffee comes from Onyx Coffee Lab, roasted in Springdale, AR; and the service is brought to you by Caleb Stovall--our coffee coordinator, Hector Garcia--resident artist and Sandra Leyva--director of The Locals. The Coffee Cart will provide just a little taste of what you will be able to find at The Locals when we open on 1024 Van Ronkle. If you would like to schedule the Coffee Cart to come to your event or place of work just email firstname.lastname@example.org
We need your help to get this space off the ground! Our community based organization draws on the talents and skills of diverse individuals who contribute to our projects. However, skills and talent alone do not make lasting infrastructure in our community happen. For that we also need money. Together our spare change can make real change. Think Global, Act Locally.
